I have an issue with my container, what do I do?

BoxHub's Post-Delivery Guide: We've Got Your Back!

Greetings!

Having recently welcomed a BoxHub container into your space, we appreciate the trust you've placed in us. Here's a comprehensive guide to ensure a smooth post-delivery experience with your new container.

Containers Explained 📦

a) Wind & Watertight Units:

Best For: Dependable, long-term storage.

Expect: A retired unit with a seasoned appearance showing signs of wear, such as rust or dents. Doors that might be a little stiff and need a firm push but remain functionally secure.

Do Not Expect: Any holes, leaks, intact lockboxes, or sunlight peeking through when inside.

b) Cargo-Worthy Units:

Best For: Dual-purpose - resilient storage and cargo transport.

Expect: A container that's been around the block, with evidence of its journey (i.e., dings, dents, and surface rust). A container that can be CSC certified and can still transport goods. Stiff but functional doors.

Do Not Expect: Holes, leaks, intact lockboxes or doors that cannot close.

c) One-Trip/New Containers:

Best For: Premium ventures, from modular homes to pop-up shops.

Expect: A container that is almost pristine with doors that operate smoothly. There may be a few minor dings, as "one-trip" containers have made one trip across the world loaded with cargo.

Do Not Expect: Malfunctioning doors, excessive rust or dents.

Issues with the Delivery?🚛

Container Placement:

  • Issue: The container hasn't been positioned as you expected or is misaligned.
  • Details: Proper placement ensures easy accessibility and reduces the risk of potential damage to surrounding property or landscape. However, not every drop site is accessible.
  • Recommendation: Clearly indicate or describe the best location on your property for container placement. We prioritize ensuring that containers are placed to your satisfaction and will reposition them if needed.

Property Impact:

  • Issue: Any damages or disturbances that are noticed after the delivery is completed, whether it is to your driveway, lawn, or any other part of your property.
  • Details: Our deliveries are intended to be seamless and without disruptions. However, heavy equipment and large containers may inadvertently affect surrounding areas.
  • Recommendation: As soon as you notice any issues, take clear photos from multiple angles. Document the time and date, along with a brief description of the observed damage. Contact our team immediately with the details. We're committed to addressing and rectifying any unintended impacts from our delivery process.
